This motor mounts onto the back of the Passap E6000 and allows the machine to knit without user intervention. It's ideal for yardage, but not so useful if the knitting requires lots of hand manipulation. There is a socket on the back of the motor rail which allows you to disconnect the motor when it is not required.

If the user is using the colour changer, the motor will automatically change colours. If the user is using a Form program, the motor will stop when user intervention is required. You can also program it to stop every 50 rows, for example. You set stops at the rear of the bed to set the full width of travel for the motor. There are electronic yarn brakes on each mast so that if the yarn snaps, the motor should stop.
